Don Philpott spent 20 years as a senior correspondent with Reuters-Press Association, the international wire service covering assignments around the world and largely focusing on conflicts. Don Philpott also co-founded and edited Footloose, an outdoor magazine, which was well known in the UK before being purchased by another major magazine.
Philpott has written over 5,000 articles which have been published in various magazines and newspapers around the world and has also written 55 books on travel, wine, food, diet and health among other topics. In addition to his contributions to Ecofactory, Don Philpott is also the editor and author of the successful Landmark Visitor's Guides to Florida and the Caribbean which now has 22 titles in the series covering all the major destinations in the Sunshine State and the Caribbean.
In 1994, Don relocated to Florida where he currently resides.
