Fair Trade Coffee Break, July 9th, 2009

On this week's fair trade coffee break, we don't talk about Michael Jackson.

We do talk about the climate bill being postponed in the Senate, the practicality of owning a hybrid, and the controversial Gray Wolf hunt. We touch on the differences between the seal hunts of Namibia and Canada, and speculate on why the Cape Fur Seals receive less attention.

The banner reads "America Honors Leaders, Not Politicians — Stop Global Warming Greenpeace," and is directed at President Barack Obama to lead the world by taking a more aggressive stance towards Global Warming. The symbolism is that to become as relevant to American History as the Presidents currently on Mount Rushmore, Barack Obama, as Greenpeace sees it, will need to take a departure from politics as usual.
