Sea Shepherd - deluded ecoterrorists
They have this fantasy that they're vigilante enforcers of an obscure UN law that nations haven't bothered to enforce. They further extend this fantasy to claim that as enforcers of the law all their actions are justified.
None of this changes the fact that they have hundreds of violations of maritime law under their belt and have made themselves into such pariahs that they have trouble even keeping their boats registered.
These people are base terrorists. They illegally ram and board fishing vessels and throw acid at their crews. They make ALF and ELF look professional by comparison.
The Japanese have showed incredible restraint so far. If they attacked my ship, they would summarily be shot and thrown overboard.
